As someone who moved from up north to the Tampa area in 2011, I will fully back up the description of each town and community in this video. I rented for two years in Lutz prior to purchasing a home in Tarpon Springs, and now currently in Clearwater. My three adult sons and their families come down once or twice a year, and the youngest relocated from Phoenix with his family in 2022. Now, even the family of his wife visits once or twice per year. Yeah, the Tampa area, particularly West of I-75 highway. Is fantastic. The only other towns to consider foe reloxation in Florida, outside Tampa area, are Anna Maria Island, Sarasota, Ft.Myers, Naples/ Marcos Island. Hey, I'm 64 on Social Security and working part time. I ride my bike four miles each way to Clearwater beach pier 60, multiple times per week. My wife favorite beach communities are Anna Maria Island and Caladesi Island. We live in the greatest country in the world, with fantastic towns, cities, and National Parks. The Tampa area is one of the best and most affordable, considering all it offers.
Hey Adam! Do you think it's possible to provide a little insight on how potential buyers will be impacted by the new law that I believe is now in affect? Historically, buyers were not expected to pay their real estate broker directly. That’s because Realtor commission fees - to both the buyers’ agent and the sellers’ agent - were paid by a home seller. From my understanding, that is now not the case. Last I heard, that we as buyers will have to sign a contract with agents before they are allowed to work with us buyers. Making wonder if it's even okay for you or other agents to even answer general questions like this, or just give information.
@@daryl252000ify realtor commissions are definitely still part of the process with real estate transactions however they’re just presented differently. Sellers are still offering commission to buyers and or buyers agents directly but yes, realtors will have to sign an agreement with all potential clients before showing homes or completing real estate actions. Our videos will not cross that line as we are simply coming from a place of information to the general public. If wanted to get a phone call, I would not have to have a brokerage agreement sign, but if it got into aspecific scenario where I was sending homes etc. then yes I would. Just a new way going about real estate but nothing truly different from the past more of a procedure change.
We moved from Northern VA to Oldsmar three years ago. We rented a condo for a few months to explore the area before buying a home in Palm Harbor. So glad we did because prior to the move, we thought we‘d live in Lithia. That would‘ve been a huge expensive mistake. Palm Harbor is perfect for us. Excellent high school and close enough to the beaches.

Riverview is good for affordable housing. Southeast part of the county.
